Uniguest enhances the live experience with Low Latency 4K Encoder for Tripleplay
Uniguest releases a 4K edition of its Low Latency Encoder, delivering best-in-class encoding and streaming at 4K resolution, ideal for live events and communications.
Uniguest’s Low Latency 4K Encoder delivers a market-leading latency of better than 170ms, glass to glass – making it the perfect solution for delivering high-quality live streams to IPTV and Digital Signage-connected displays using its Tripleplay software. This release supports the enabling of venues to ensure their visitors and fans are fully synchronized with the live event action wherever they are on a property.
The 4K encoder unit is available in single-channel or dual-channel options, each equipped with both HDMI and SDI inputs, and the form factor makes it easy to deploy units close to the input source, reducing the need for lengthy cabling back to the server room.
Uniguest’s chief executive officer, Matt Goche, commented, “The Uniguest 4K Encoder is an IP video solution that is the direct result of our strategic investment in market-defining products. Our track record in creating hardware that delivers exceptional results speaks for itself as the 4K encoder builds on the success of our popular HD version, which is trusted by many Tripleplay software users and sports stadia globally, helping to optimize the ‘event-day’ experience for many end-users and fans.”
