hi human Interface
hiPush36 Mark 3 & hiPad

Configuration, administration and operation in a single system

Hi Nobg (1)

The hi human interface makes signal routing easy and accessible even for non-specialist users. Routing video, audio, data, baseband, IP, Dante, or NDI signals within a mobile or fixed installation or across multiple installations, studios, OB vans, or auditoriums is now much more intuitive and easy.

  • 02 CONNECTION MANAGEMENT 300822
    CONNECTION MANAGEMENT
hi human interface makes signal routing easy and accessible even to non-technical staff. You can route signals within a mobile or fixed facility or across several facilities, studios, OBs, theatres and temporary buildings. To operators, it makes no difference which signals they handle – video, audio, data, baseband, IP, Dante or NDI. You can connect them facility-wide or across facilities and access your configuration using any device (PC, tablet, smartphone). Sophisticated tagging mechanisms included in a system’s basic configuration allow finding signals and making changes to be completely intuitive. During the human interface development, the makers had in mind your daily working routines and requirements. They included advanced auto-detect functionalities and configuration presets to make your work as easy as possible.
  • 01 TALLY CUEING 300822
    TALLY AND CUEING
It doesn’t matter whether you are on a live TV production or in a theatre, to know which camera or signal is on-air, who’s in charge, and which actor or staff is on cue is essential. Tally and cueing are basic but important functionalities in hi human interface, with almost no limits because it can calculate as many tallies as you want. Everybody in the crew and on stage is on the same page and alert. With hi human interface, you can integrate an unlimited number of vision mixers, multiviewers and GPIO interfaces. The tally configuration is easy, and can include all tally logics imaginable, triggering several follow-up actions connected to the tally signal. In theatres and live event environments, a mix of new and legacy equipment is frequently in play, therefore hi human interface leverages tally signalling via GPIO interfaces, allowing you to address nearly all proprietary and legacy equipment.
  • 03 PARAMETER CONTROL 300822
    PARAMETER CONTROL
With hi human interface, you are not limited to accessing devices and routing signals. The parameter control functionalities available enable you to access certain specific parameters of devices in the system. You can use hi human interface like a software tool with the device-agnostic GUI or, if you are the “buttons-and-knobs guy”, no problem. Using our 19” hardware panels with rotary push encoders and pushbuttons, the possibilities are nearly endless – colour correction, loudness control, HDR modes, processing, control values and settings of single devices, or leveraging control logics of several devices at once. You are in control of different devices and parameters at all times through a single, unified control interface.
  • 04 USABILITY 300822
    USABILITY
No matter which system you are running – baseband, IP, cloud, remote or local – you can manage it with hi human interface. As broadcast and media systems become increasingly complex, controlling them becomes complex. hi human interface is different; it is easy to configure, easy to understand and easy to use. The focus of our development is the user. Users can intuitively and creatively develop, manage and scale complex systems. Configurations are created in dynamic mode and always stay up to date. If you make changes to your broadcast and media system, they are mirrored in your control system; all made possible by simple administration, templates and auto-discovery functionalities such as NMOS and LLDP.
  • 05 WORKFLOW AUTOMATION 300822.Mp4
    WORKFLOW AUTOMATION
Consider hi human interface as your personal assistant, an out-of-the-box tool that leads you through your daily work and offers more than just functions with actions and advice. It not only has access to devices and parameters; the system’s additional cornerstone is workflow automation. We know about daily broadcast and media business routines, demands, production workflows and prerequisites. With practical rules and grouping and tagging functionalities, the system guides you through the configuration process, advises the best possible configuration, and suggests signal connections and follow-up actions. Conceived as a modern “if this, then that” engine, you can configure complex series of actions or groups of actions with one single system and at a blink of an eye.
  • 06 INTEGRATION 300822
    INTEGRATION
hi human interface is a vendor-independent control system that offers maximum freedom to its users. The system’s flexibility towards vendors, interfaces, protocols and standards reflects the openness of its developers. We believe in the idea of open standards promotion and joint efforts in system development in order to provide the best results for users in the ever-changing broadcast and media business. In operation, hi human interface integrates easily with other systems, devices and new technologies. It leverages a dynamic approach for seamless integration with other workflow applications.
